Underwater Windows

The story of Underwater Windows® begins with a passion for clarity, durability and craftsmanship. For years, we have supplied underwater windows that are not only a technical masterpiece, but also create a unique experience in swimming pools and wellness projects.

At 2021 we have become part of the Plano Plastics Group - a family business with deep roots. This brought not only a large machine park and ample stock of acrylic, but also an even stronger team of experienced professionals. Together, we ensure that we can deliver faster, smarter and more sustainably.

Michiel literally grew up among acrylic. His father Adrie founded Plano Plastics, and Michiel was involved in the company from an early age. As a result, he knows the business inside out. With his broad knowledge, entrepreneurial spirit and eye for innovation, he continues to expand the family business and leads Underwater Windows® as CEO.

Marco Melis - COO Underwater Windows®
Marco started at Plano Plastics more than 15 years ago. He specialised in materials, techniques and applications and grew into a true craftsman with an eye for detail. In 2024 he became COO of Underwater Windows®. Marco is the point of contact for our clients: he visits projects on site, assesses the situation, makes calculations and carries out work. His strength lies in practical implementation and direct contact with our customers.

With Michiel as strategist and visionary, and Marco as craftsman and connector, Underwater Windows® stands firmly on two pillars: knowledge & experience. Together, we take projects to the next level and realise windows that last a lifetime.
